Chernobyl is a very good series that hits the hard hitting truth about the nuclear disaster in Chernobyl and its aftermath.It vividly portrays its impact on the people living near the region, other living creatures surrounding it and even for the future generations.Timeline of the story is quite interesting with accident first, then unravelling the after effects and finally showing what happened on that particular day.The giant disaster and the inability of the humankind to do nothing after the disaster is a very good check on our own nuclear plants near us like the kalpakkam and kundankulam nuclear plants.It tells us why we must be cautious in each and every step of these plants and how carefully these plants must be laid out.Haven’t seen anything quite like it and gave the understanding how important control rooms and the plant workings are,given that I have seen real control rooms in my past job.They could make future series like these for all the major disasters as they throw a clear picture in our tragic history and enlighten us for a better future.
