Michael crichton has described vividly the world of Jurassic park in this epic novel.
With the description of each iteration, the characters of the park realize that the park is proving to be beyond their control even though they have put a lot of precautions in place. Charm of the book still remains fresh even though there had been a number of movies of the same name over the years. The theme of the story that people try to convert ideas into business without thinking about the after effects of the science really holds true even in today’s scenario.
Books goes into great detail on the behavioral patterns of dinosaurs, reptiles, birds, mammals and their dynamics with humans. Story resonates a lot with another creation of crichton, Westworld and realized this a lot finishing this book.
Overall a book that toys with the idea of humans beings in control of an extinct, mammoth creature dinosaurs and creates a scary world where dinosaurs are let loose and humans helpless!
“God creates dinosaurs, God kills dinosaurs, God creates man, man kills God, man brings back dinosaurs.”
“The planet has survived everything, in its time. It will certainly survive us.”
― Michael Crichton, Jurassic Park
