An Epic Modern day Western TV Series based on the short story ‘Fire in the hole’ by Elmore Leonard.

All the Characters in this series have a cool attitude with them. One of the things I liked particularly was the razor sharp dialogues and no non sense attitude of the characters.

Loved Timothy Olymphant’s portrayal of Raylan Givens and Walton Goggin’s Boyd Crowder, Timothy has a no care attitude and oozing charisma that makes him look like a modern day Clint Eastwood. Walton Goggin is also equally good with his unique dialogue delivery style and devilish portrayal of the character Boyd. Their chemistry and dynamics form the base of the story, it interesting changes as seasons progresses.

Also has lovely characters like Ava Crowder, Wynn Duffy, Dewey Crowe  and also the character of Loretta played by then relatively unknown Kaitlyn Dever. Series takes us through the country side of kentucky and the people living there. They set up and shot it well, taking us into that world.

Also makes use of the awesome Western tropes like Raylan with the hat, Gun shootouts, Violent characters with no regards for the law. One of the remarkable thing was, Series was good throughout with a satisfying ending. This Graham Yost’s series is an underrated gem and is definitely one of the best series of the last decade
